Edward del Rosario Talk Attracts Crowd

On Saturday, November 11, Edward del Rosario gave an Artist Talk at Nancy Margolis Gallery, in which he discussed the works that are on view in his current solo exhibition, Legend. His talk brought in a large crowd of curious visitors and admirers, including an art teacher and six of her high school-aged students. Del Rosario explained his artistic process, including what tools and materials he uses; he described the inspirations for his enigmatic narratives, from mythology, to folklore, to children's books, to his own imagination; and he engaged the audience in a question-and-answer discussion where participants could ask the artist any question about his work or process. The event was a huge success and we thank everyone who came to the gallery to participate.
