Eva Hild: Recipient of the Prince Eugen Medal

Swedish sculptor and Nancy Margolis Gallery artist, Eva Hild, was just awarded the Prince Eugen Medal in recognition of outstanding artistic achievements. Hild was selected along with two painters from Sweden and three diverse artists from the Nordic countries to receive this award. On Friday, November 17, 2017, Hild will accept the medal at the Swedish castle in Stockholm from the king and queen.

Prince Eugen was one of the leading landscape artists of his time and was an important art collector, specializing in Swedish art. In 1945, King Gustaf V established the Prince Eugen Medal in recognition of outstanding artistic achievements.
